Racine, WI, June 23 — Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling endorses Sandy Wiedmeyer, Republican candidate for Wisconsin State Senate District 11. Schmaling cited Wiedmeyer’s record fighting for accountability, parental rights, and public safety across Southeast Wisconsin as the reason for his support ahead of the August 11 Republican primary.

“I’m honored to have the endorsement of Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling. Sheriff Schmaling’s endorsement reflects a shared belief that leadership isn’t about titles, it’s about action. It’s about showing up when your community needs you, standing firm, and being willing to do the hard things even when they’re unpopular. Those are the values that have guided my service to the community, and they are the values I will take with me to the State Senate.” – Sandy Wiedmeyer, candidate for Wisconsin State Senate District 11

In his endorsement, Schmaling pointed to Wiedmeyer’s work co-founding the Kenosha County chapter of Moms for Liberty, the first chapter in the State of Wisconsin, and her work recruiting conservative school board candidates as evidence of her willingness to lead rather than wait on the sidelines. He also highlighted her commitment to lowering taxes, defending election integrity, and being tough on crime as core priorities she will bring to the State Senate. Wiedmeyer’s campaign continues to build a coalition of law enforcement, local elected officials,
and grassroots conservatives across Walworth, Kenosha, Racine, and Rock counties ahead of the August 11 primary.
