DELAFIELD, Wis. – Waukesha County Circuit Court Branch 3 candidate Paul Dedinsky announced today that his campaign has raised more than $87,900 in just over two months, a total believed to be the strongest early fundraising effort by a Wisconsin circuit court candidate at this stage of an election cycle.

Nearly every dollar came from individual supporters, reflecting the confidence that friends, neighbors, colleagues and members of the Waukesha County community have placed in Dedinsky and his campaign. The fundraising milestone was reached by the June 30, 2026, filing deadline, more than nine months before the April 2027 election and before Governor Tony Evers had appointed an opponent to the race.

Dedinsky, who has spent his legal career working to uphold the rule of law and protect Wisconsin communities, said the campaign’s early support is both humbling and encouraging.

“This campaign is and will always be about the incredible community where Lisa and I chose to build our lives and raise our family,” Dedinsky said. “As a judge, I will prioritize keeping our community safe while holding accountable those who choose to cause harm. Throughout this campaign, I’ve heard the same message from voters: they want a judge they can trust; someone who will apply the law fairly, protect victims, and keep politics out of the courtroom.”

Dedinsky said the campaign’s early momentum also reflects the belief that local judicial elections should be decided by the people who live and work in the community, not by outside political organizations.

“In recent years, out-of-state special interests have spent unprecedented amounts to influence Wisconsin’s judicial elections,” Dedinsky said. “Waukesha County voters have consistently chosen judges who believe in the rule of law, public safety, and the fair application of our laws. I am confident they will do so again.”

Dedinsky announced his candidacy following the retirement of longtime Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Ralph M. Ramirez.

His campaign has earned endorsements from former Governor Scott Walker; Wisconsin Supreme Court Justices Rebecca Bradley and Annette Ziegler; former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Dan Kelly; Court of Appeals Judges Mark Gundrum, Shelley Grogan and Maria Lazar; and Judge-elect Anthony LoCoco.

Dedinsky has also been endorsed by an overwhelming majority of the Waukesha County Circuit Court bench, including Judges Michael Aprahamian, Jennifer Dorow, Cody Horlacher, David Maas, Michael Maxwell, J. Arthur Melvin, Jack Pitzo, Scott Wagner and Zach Wittchow, along with retired Judges Michael Bohren and Kathryn Foster. Additional endorsements include Judges Christopher Dee, Robert Dehring, Randy Koschnick (ret.) and Grant Scaife.

His campaign is further supported by numerous local elected officials, including Senators Julian Bradley, Rob Hutton and Steve Nass; Representatives Scott Allen, Barb Dittrich, Dan Knodl, Adam Neylon, Jim Piwowarczyk and Chuck Wichgers; Mayor Tim Aicher, Village President Jeff Pfannerstill, Mayor Steve Ponto and Mayor Matt Rosek.

“I am grateful for the confidence so many people have placed in our campaign,” Dedinsky said. “I look forward to continuing to meet voters across Waukesha County, listening to their concerns, and earning their trust in the months ahead.”

The election for Waukesha County Circuit Court Branch 3 will be held on April 6, 2027.
