Madison… The Oscar Mayer property, which has sat idle for nearly a decade, has experienced new life with the creation of OM Station. Owners Dan Seibel and Randy Goll, two Wisconsin-based real estate businessmen, have owned the property for a year.

Realta Fusion, the world’s leading magnetic fusion energy company, announced today that they have chosen OM Station on Madison’s northside, as the location of their new corporate headquarters and fusion research facility. Realta Fusion expects to create over 600 jobs in Wisconsin.

“We believe that today’s announcement of Realta Fusion moving into OM Station, creating hundreds of high paying jobs in the Madison area, is just the beginning. OM Station is primed to be an economic engine for Madison’s northside,” said Dan Seibel, Co-Owner of OM Station.

Realta Fusion plans to occupy roughly 250,000 square feet of the about 50 acres in OM Station.

Randy Goll, Co-Owner of OM Station, went on to say, “The property’s proximity to the Dane County Airport, Wisconsin’s Interstate 90-94, and its adjacency to both UW Madison and Madison College make it a prime location for a technology hub.”

OM Station has met with numerous stakeholders including the Evers Administration, Dane County elected officials, Madison Mayor Rhodes-Conway, City of Madison alders, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and several other thought leaders to discuss future plans for the site.
