De Pere, Wis. — Republican State Senate candidate Katie Baney today announced that her campaign’s latest finance report reflects the strongest fundraising effort in the race, reporting more than $46,000 in individual contributions, the highest total raised from individual donors by any candidate seeking Wisconsin’s 1st State Senate District seat.
The report underscores the growing momentum behind Baney’s campaign, which has been fueled by supporters throughout Northeast Wisconsin.
Unlike other candidates in the race, Baney did not loan personal funds to her campaign. Instead, her campaign’s financial support came directly from individuals who have invested in her vision for the future of the 1st Senate District.
“I’m grateful that so many individuals have chosen to invest in our campaign,” Baney said. “They believe that I am the strongest and best candidate to champion conservative values in Madison on behalf of Northeast Wisconsin.”
The campaign said the filing reflects continued enthusiasm and growing momentum from voters as Republicans prepare to select their nominee in the Aug. 11 primary election.
