Protect Our Wisconsin, a group backed by the Democratic Governors Association, launched two ads on TV and streaming platforms, slamming Republican Congressman Tom Tiffany’s extreme agenda. From protecting predators by blocking the release of the Epstein files to voting to kick seniors off of Social Security and Medicare, the ads highlight why Tiffany’s agenda is wrong for Wisconsin.
Tiffany has outwardly protected predators throughout his time in public service. In Congress, he blocked the release of the Epstein files and admitted that Donald Trump – who reportedly appears in the files more than a million times – knew Epstein was a bad guy. Tiffany also went as far as to campaign with a man cited for disorderly conduct related to restroom peeping on a college campus.
Tiffany helped write a plan that called for raising the retirement age for Social Security and Medicare, cutting benefits. He also worked on the Republican budget proposal that would gut Medicare and turn it into a voucher system, and even voted twice against protecting Medicare from automatic cuts, instead voting to “slash billions of dollars” from the program.
