De Pere, Wis. – Katie Baney, Republican candidate for Wisconsin’s 1st State Senate District, today announced the endorsement of State Rep. Ron Tusler (R-Harrison), who represents Wisconsin’s 3rd Assembly District.

Rep. Tusler praised Baney’s conservative record and readiness to serve in the Wisconsin State Senate.

“I am endorsing Katie Baney. Katie is the best choice to become our next Senator. She is a polished public speaker. And, she has tirelessly worked for conservative causes for her entire career. I’m excited to have a chance to work with her to achieve our goals.”

Baney said she is honored to earn the support of one of northeastern Wisconsin’s respected conservative leaders.

“I am incredibly grateful to have Representative Tusler’s endorsement. Ron has been a consistent conservative leader and principled advocate for the people of northeastern Wisconsin. He’s a man of deep faith and I look forward to working alongside him to defend our values and deliver results for the families of the 1st Senate District.”

Tusler’s endorsement marks another significant milestone for the Baney campaign, which continues to build broad support from conservative leaders and grassroots supporters across northeast Wisconsin ahead of the Aug. 11 Republican primary. Read Rep. Tusler remarks in full below:

Katie Baney is the best choice to become our next Senator. That is my opinion. And, I am in good company. She is endorsed by many of the greatest conservative organizations, including Wisconsin Family Action, NRA, Stand for Health Freedom, and Americans for Prosperity. We agree that she would be a huge asset in the Republican Senate.

Katie has followed God’s calling to fight for conservative values her entire political career. I believe she will keep God in her career in Madison. She really wants to fight for her children’s future in Madison. She wants to protect our second amendment. She wants to become a leader within the Republican Senate.

Katie is the best ready for the job. Barb Bittner and Nic Cravillion are both good people and good candidates. But, the Senate needs someone with developed skills in policy making, political decision making, and speaking. Katie has significantly more experience. I firmly believe that Bittner and Cravillion could develop these skills. But, Katie already has them. Katie can clearly and specifically communicate policy decisions. Katie will work with the Senate Republican team when they need her. She will also speak out when they are making a mistake. That isn’t easy to do without experience as a freshman Senator.

Katie has an impeccable reputation with everyone she has worked. Her current position working for a Second Amendment protection organization, United States Concealed Carry Association and Delta Defense speak highly of her commitment to Conservative policy. She is happily married and has two children. She plans to work with the MAHA movement to improve our children’s health in Wisconsin.

She is a rock star of a candidate. Jump on her bandwagon with me!
