The group backing Joel Brennan’s bid for governor released its first digital ad, saying the former DOA secretary is running “to take Wisconsin to the next level.”

The narrator in the spot also says Brennan will “stop data centers” even though he hasn’t called for a moratorium on them. He’s instead proposed a series of regulations that he believes could be approved within days of his administration taking office.

The narrator in the ad says Gov. Tony Evers turned to Brennan to head his cabinet after Scott Walker “gutted state government.”

The narrator says Brennan will lower the cost of healthcare through a public option, build 100,000 new homes, have the state back lower interest rates for first-time home buyers and “stop data centers.”

The narrator closes the spot, “Democrat Joel Brennan for governor: A bold plan and the experience to get it done.”
