Dem Rebecca Cooke in her first TV ad in the race for Wisconsin’s 3rd CD says she’ll be the working-class representative that will stand up to “special interests.”
The ad opens with Cooke saying, “You don’t have to look too far to see living proof of Washington’s failures,” followed by her filling her car with gas.
Throughout the 30-second spot, Cooke is shown with dairy cows, sweeping floors, setting tables and interacting with farmers. Cooke goes on to say that she “fights for people” by refusing corporate cash and vows not to trade any stocks if elected to Congress.
“We need more working-class folks in D.C. that will stand up to special interests,” Cooke says in the ad.
