RAYMOND, Wis. — Wisconsin Assembly Representative Clinton Anderson (AD-45, D-Beloit) today endorsed Mitchell Berman for Wisconsin’s First Congressional District.

Anderson issued the following statement:

“Mitchell Berman gets what people in our communities and district are up against, because he’s lived it — he’s spent his career at the bedside, taking care of people and seeing firsthand how the system fails working families. Mitchell will fight for our district the way he’s fought for his patients, and I’m proud to support him.”

Berman, an ER nurse from Raymond, is a Democratic candidate for Wisconsin’s First Congressional District. He has centered his campaign on kitchen table issues, working-class representation, and ending corruption in Washington.

Ahead of Wisconsin’s August 11 Democratic primary, a wide array of prominent local and national leaders have endorsed Berman, including Congressman Pat Ryan, former WI-01 nominee Randy Bryce, State Senator Mark Spreitzer, and State Representatives Ben Desmidt, Tip McGuire, Ann Roe, and Chris Sinicki.

A union nurse, Berman also has the support of local labor, including the United Auto Workers and American Federation of Teachers Local 212. A full list of endorsements is available on Berman’s website.
