EAU CLAIRE, Wisc. — Last week, Rebecca Cooke, candidate for Congress in Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District, released her campaign’s FEC report raising $1.8 million in the second quarter of 2026. Her campaign has now raised over $8.3 million this election cycle, over a million dollars more than Derrick Van Orden. 

This financial report gives a transparent look into the Cooke campaign that received contributions from nearly 24,000 individuals and no corporate PACs or special interest dollars. 

“I am so humbled by the outpouring of support from all across West Central Wisconsin for our people powered campaign,” Rebecca Cooke said. “Our campaign is fueled by a broad coalition of grassroots donors giving an average of $59.74 who are ready for leaders focused on cutting costs, improving health outcomes, and expanding economic opportunity in rural communities. Unlike Derrick Van Orden, I have not taken a cent from special interest groups like AIPAC or any corporate PACs because I won’t be beholden to anyone except my constituents in Congress.” 

Derrick Van Orden’s financial reports showcase his strong backing from DC special interest groups like AIPAC, defense contractors, insurance companies, and Republican party bosses who voted for the biggest cut to health care in American history to give a tax break to the wealthiest among us.
