NEW FRANKEN, WI — State Senate Candidate Nic Cravillion announced today that his campaign has been endorsed by two of the most influential conservative leaders in Northeast Wisconsin’s history – former State Senator Alan Lasee and State Representative Garey Bies.

“Having served Northeast Wisconsin in the State Capitol for many years, these respected leaders know the qualifications necessary to succeed in Madison and the importance of being connected to the communities they represent,” said Cravillion.  “Their confidence means a great deal to me, and I am grateful for their support. I look forward to following in their footsteps by going to work for the citizens of the First Senate District.”

Senator Lasee represented the Wisconsin First Senate District from 1977-2011, including two terms as Senate President from 2003-07.  Representative Garey Bies is a former Sister Bay deputy sheriff who served in the State Assembly, representing the First District from 2001 to 2015.

“The voters in the Wisconsin First Senate District have a clear choice for state senator.  Nic Cravillion was born and raised on a dairy farm in New Franken.  Nic has a strong work ethic.  He served on active duty, including a year in Afghanistan.  Working for Senator André Jacque, he has helped constituents with problems and questions regarding state government.  He will hit the ground running with no on-the-job training required.  My 36 years as a state legislator gives me complete confidence that Nic will do a great job,” said Senator Lasee.

“I have reviewed the slate of candidates for the First Senate District and concluded that in my opinion, Nic Cravillion is the best person to be our next Senator.  Nic has worked tirelessly for Senator Jacque, which provides us with the opportunity to elect a working Senator on day one.  He knows the district and the people better than anyone running for this office.  Check them out.  I’m sure you will agree with me to vote for Nic,” said Representative Bies.

Today’s endorsements follow a growing number of community leaders and statewide organizations which have come out in support of Nic Cravillion’s campaign for State Senate, including the Wisconsin REALTORS Association, the Wisconsin Dairy Business Association and Pro-Life Wisconsin.
