(Berlin, WI…) Republican candidate for the 57th Assembly District, Kevin Krentz today announced he is endorsed by the Dairy Business Association (DBA).
“DBA supports candidates who understand agriculture and are committed to advancing policies that help Wisconsin dairy farmers and rural communities thrive,” DBA Executive Director Chad Zuleger said. “Kevin brings both real-world dairy farming experience and a strong record of agricultural leadership.”
Krentz, a lifelong dairy farmer and agriculture leader, said he was honored to have the endorsement of DBA. He was also endorsed by Rep. Kevin Petersen (R-Waupaca) who announced in the spring his decision to not seek reelection.
“Farming and public service are in my blood. I operate the dairy farm I grew up on, and it’s the place I learned the value of a dollar and a work ethic. Wisconsin farmers not only feed our friends and neighbors but they feed the world, and I’m honored to continue to represent the agricultural community that does so much to make our communities stronger.”

Krentz has served in a variety of leadership positions both locally and statewide. He was the President of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation from 2020 until 2023, board member for the American Farm Bureau Federation Board, UW-Madison College of Agricultural and Live Sciences Board of Visitors, Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection’s (DATCP) Agricultural Export Advisory Council and more. He was President of the Rural Mutual Insurance Company Board of Directors (2020-2024).
On the local level, Krentz was elected to the Aurora Town Board in 2004 serving for 10 years including as Chairman between 2010-2014.
In addition to DBA, Rep. Petersen, Krentz is endorsed in the GOP primary election by Wisconsin Family Action PAC, Jon Wilcox, Don Nelson and a multitude of local officials and leaders.
