“In the race for Wisconsin’s 1st State Senate District, I am proud to endorse Mark Becker. Mark is someone whose commitment to the truth over partisan loyalty has taken him on a journey much similar to mine. I know what it’s like to have your party leave you; to witness its principles and ideals stray so far from the very things that you once fought for.
In the years that I have known Mark, I have always admired his desire to return to a civil brand of politics, while being unafraid to speak out against the harms of extremism to his community. Now is the time for leaders like Mark who can resist the pull of polarization and, instead, bring people together. Mark is a devoted husband, father, and leader, and he is the independent voice that the hardworking people of Wisconsin’s 1st Senate District deserve to represent them.”
