MADISON – Sen. Kelda Roys announced Tuesday that her campaign raised approximately $200K in July with almost 95% of contributions from Wisconsinites bringing her total raised during the campaign to $1.4 million ahead of the Aug. 11 primary, including independent efforts. The campaign reported $130K during the period ending July 27.
The Roys campaign has seen a groundswell of support and a surge of donations following the primary debate where Sen. Roys distinguished herself among the field with policy proposals to address concerns of Wisconsinites. According to independent research from the Swing Voter Project, Roys is the most electable candidate, performing the best against Tiffany in head to head matchups. The focus group research surveyed 1,019 independent and swing voters who watched the debate, demonstrating Roys unmatched strength as a general election candidate.

Roys continues to grow her vote share with more endorsements than anyone else in the primary, including adding endorsers and supporters from all four candidates who have dropped out of the race.
