MADISON, Wis. — In the most recent campaign finance reporting period, the Republican Party of Wisconsin (RPW) and the Republican Assembly Campaign Committee (RACC) disclosed that over 99% of the money they raised from individuals came from just one billionaire couple, Dick and Elizabeth Uihlein.

“Wisconsin Republicans owe the funding for almost their entire current political operations to a few billionaires,” commented A Better Wisconsin Together Deputy Director Mike Browne. “Whether it’s payback for past favors or a down payment on the future, it’s the working people of Wisconsin who suffer the consequences of leaders who owe their office to these MAGA  mega-donors.”

In their Fall pre-primary report, RACC reported that 99.9%, $4 million of the $4,003,603.06 they reported raising in total from individuals, came in a single donation from MAGA billionaire Elizabeth Uihlein. For its part, RPW’s Fall pre-primary report reveals Elizabeth and her husband Dick were responsible for just over 99.4% of the total campaign cash raised from individuals, $5 million of a total of $5,030,126.00.

These campaign committees are running ads on behalf of their candidates and making large transfers of cash to candidates’ individual campaign committees. For example, RPW reported receiving $2.5. million from Elizabeth Uihlein on July 16 and transferred $2 million to U.S. Representative and presumptive gubernatorial nominee Tom Tiffany the next day. After snagging another $2.5 million from Dick Uihlein on July 17, RPW transferred $2 million to Tiffany on July 21.

The latest reports follow earlier disclosures that the vast majority of state Republicans’ campaign cash was coming from just three MAGA billionaires – Dick Uihlein, Elizabeth Uihlein, and Diane Hendricks. This trio has larded right-wing Wisconsin politicians and Republican campaign committees with over $28 million in 2026 alone and have not been shy about using their massive wealth to try to get their way.
