West Bend, WI – Washington County Clerk Ashley Reichert was appointed to two committees with the National Association of Counties (NACo) by the association’s president for the 2026-2027 term.

County Clerk Reichert will serve as Vice Chair of the Finance, Pensions and Intergovernmental Affairs Policy Steering Committee, and Vice Chair of the Veterans and Military Services Advisory Council.

NACo President George Dunlap said he selected Reichert “because of your unwavering commitment and exemplary dedication to NACo. Our greatest strength lies in the engagement of our members, and your active participation and leadership are vital to ensuring that we remain a united voice of America’s counties.”

County Clerk Reichert said, “I’m honored to represent Washington County and the state of Wisconsin on these NACo committees. I look forward to bringing back new ideas and sharing Washington County’s successes with county leaders from across the country.”
