LWD-endorsed candidates Ismael Luna (WI-HD-08), Christian Phelps (WI-HD-93), and Trevor Jung (WI-SD-21) in Wisconsin and Nikhil Goyal (VT-SD-CHIT-CT-1) in Vermont win their Democratic primaries 

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Leaders We Deserve candidates Ismael Luna, Christian Phelps, Trevor Jung, and Nikhil Goyal won their Democratic primary elections, advancing to the November 3rd general. Leaders We Deserve is now 22-1 in state legislature races this cycle, delivering on our promise to build deep benches of progressive power in key states. With Ismael Luna’s victory, he becomes the first Leaders We Deserve-endorsed challenger to oust an incumbent in a state legislature race this cycle, delivering on our promise to build a better Democratic Party.
