MADISON, Wis. — At a bar touting Pittsburgh Steelers fan swag, and not the green and gold of Wisconsin’s beloved Packers, Congressman Tom Tiffany finally told the truth: he’s a “MAGA extremist.”
“It’s not enough for MAGA extremist Congressman Tom Tiffany to vote for Trump’s agenda 100% of the time, now he’s upsetting every loyal Wisconsinite who backs the green and gold on the very first day of his campaign for governor,” said WisDems spokesperson Emily Stuckey. “Tiffany is already flunking with Wisconsin voters after taking away their health care and causing the affordability crisis, and now he’s given them even more reason to vote against him.”
At long last, Tiffany is telling the truth about his record of voting for Trump’s cost-raising agenda 100% of the time, including passing massive tax cuts for billionaires like Elon Musk by gutting healthcare, voting over and over again to continue the war in Iran, and trying to overthrow our democracy. But Wisconsinites have found another reason to vote against him—holding one of his very first general election campaign events at a bar that seems to support the Pittsburgh Steelers and not the Green Bay Packers.
