While we’d all like to take the summer off and enjoy everything Wisconsin has to offer, the Legislature continues to work hard year-round.
All those topics? They’re all subjects of legislative study committees: bipartisan groups of lawmakers, members of the public, and subject experts who will spend the next few months doing intense research on timely issues facing our state.
These study committees will meet several times over the coming months, and committee activity will result in recommendations for new bills next session.
