MADISON, Wis. – Senate President Pro-Tempore, Senator Patrick Testin released the following statement after Jeff Smith and his allies at the Senate Democrat Campaign Committee (SSDC) failed miserably, in Dane County Court following their witch hunt and defamation campaign against local official, and upstanding Wisconsin citizen – Michele Magadance Skinner.

“Jeff Smith will stop at nothing to grab political power. The antics of Jeff and his radical Madison allies were stopped today in Dane County Court. Thankfully, justice prevailed.
“Democrats know Jeff Smith’s record of putting himself over the people he was elected to represent is too much to overcome this November. Jeff Smith and Madison Democrats are out of touch with the realities that Wisconsinites are facing. Instead of focusing on lowering costs for families across this state, they have focused on their smear campaign against a Wisconsin Woman and her service in local government.
“As we march forward, Michele Skinner will continue to meet voters in her district and focus on addressing what actually matters to families across the Chippewa Valley – lowering costs, increasing access to quality affordable healthcare and cutting property taxes.
