WAUSAU, WI – Today, Tom Tiffany released his eighth statewide ad highlighting David Crowley’s record of raising taxes and opposing tax relief for working families.
The new ad, titled “Tax It All,” highlights Crowley’s record as Milwaukee County Executive, including his 80% increase in the county sales tax and five property tax increases. It also highlights Crowley’s record in the Legislature, where he voted against tax relief for working families twice, including a 10% middle-class income tax cut.
“David Crowley wants more of your money. I want you to keep it,” said Tom Tiffany. “Crowley nearly doubled Milwaukee County’s sales tax, raised property taxes five times, and voted against tax relief for working families. The money you earn. The home you own. The things you need. David Crowley wants to tax it all. Wisconsin families cannot afford to take his tax-hiking record statewide.”
The ad comes ahead of Tiffany’s press conference today in Milwaukee, where he will unveil his Keep More of Your Hard-Earned Money agenda, an eight-point plan to lower taxes, reduce costs, and put more money back in the pockets of Wisconsin families.
