MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Wisconsin entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders and technology professionals will gather Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Marquette University for the Launch Wisconsin conference, a statewide event showcasing emerging companies, new technologies and the people driving Wisconsin’s innovation economy.

Entrepreneurs may attend the conference at no charge, an effort aimed at bringing more founders into the room to connect with investors, business leaders, mentors and others who can help their companies grow. Learn more and register. 

Formerly known as the Early Stage Symposium, the conference is now Launch Wisconsin, part of a unified statewide brand bringing together the Wisconsin Technology Council’s startup competition, educational programming, investor engagement and entrepreneurial community. 

The conference will open with a plenary discussion on frontier technology in Wisconsin, featuring leaders working across some of the state’s most promising technology sectors. The panel will explore Wisconsin’s strengths and opportunities in areas such as artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, energy, quantum technology and other emerging industries. 

A highlight of the conference will be the live presentations of the Launch Wisconsin competition, giving some of Wisconsin’s most promising early stage companies the opportunity to present before an audience of investors, business leaders, mentors and others engaged in the state’s startup community.

The conference will also feature Investor Intros, providing entrepreneurs with opportunities for one-on-one meetings with investors. The meetings are designed to create meaningful connections between emerging companies and investors, allowing founders to introduce their businesses, discuss growth plans and build relationships with potential sources of capital.
