KEWASKUM, Wis. — August 27, 2026 — Drexel Building Supply recently hosted U.S. Representative Tom Tiffany at its Kewaskum Manufacturing and Fulfillment Center for a facility tour and round-table regarding the construction industry, housing crisis, and how to support local builders.  They discussed building constraints, high costs of builds, and how to reduce government costs and delays in home building.

The tour highlighted Drexel’s 377,000 square foot state-of-the-art and vertically integrated facility — demonstrating how to streamline operations, lower building costs, increase quality, and support local builders. By removing bottlenecks in door manufacturing and material delivery, Drexel focuses on its core mission: supplying happiness to team members, builders, and future homeowners by making quality housing more accessible and affordable.

“We were honored to host Representative Tiffany and share a firsthand look at our operations and the hard-working team behind them,” said Joel Fleischman, President at Drexel Building Supply. “Open dialogue between policymakers and local builders is crucial for ensuring our industry can continue to support local builders.”

Following the floor tour, Representative Tiffany joined Drexel and local industry partners for a round-table forum. The group addressed key economic pressures, including Wisconsin’s business climate and policies impacting local construction and housing shortages.
