WAUSAU, WI – Today, Tom Tiffany released a new statewide ad featuring Kelsey, a nurse and mother of three from Milwaukee County, warning Wisconsin families about David Crowley’s record of raising taxes and making everyday life more expensive.

The new testimonial ad, “We’ve Paid Enough,” highlights Crowley’s 80% increase in Milwaukee County’s sales tax and the impact higher taxes have on families buying everything from clothes to school supplies. In the ad, Kelsey warns families across Wisconsin that Milwaukee County taxpayers have already seen what Crowley’s approach means for their wallets.

“David Crowley has almost doubled our sales tax, making everything cost more, and he bragged about it while families like mine picked up the bill,” said Kelsey, a Milwaukee County nurse and mother of three. “Milwaukee County families have paid enough because of David Crowley. Don’t let him come for your paycheck next.”

The ad is the latest contrast in Tom Tiffany’s Keep More of Your Hard-Earned Money agenda, which would lower property taxes, deliver a 10% income tax cut for working families, eliminate state income taxes on tips and overtime, return the state surplus to taxpayers, lower utility costs, and prevent sales tax increases.

“Milwaukee County families have experienced David Crowley’s tax-hiking agenda firsthand,” said Tom Tiffany. “He raised property taxes five times, nearly doubled the sales tax, and made everyday purchases more expensive. Wisconsin families work hard for every dollar they earn. As governor, I’ll make sure they keep more of it.”
