LA CROSSE, WI. – Rebecca Cooke has repeatedly pointed to health care as a top concern for western Wisconsin and made promises about ensuring Americans can access affordable coverage.
New reporting from The Heartland Post shows Rebecca Cooke’s campaign has not provided health insurance or a health care stipend to its own staff.
Despite raising more than $8 million, Cooke’s latest Federal Election Commission filing reports payments to campaign employees but no disbursements for employee health insurance or health care stipends.
The campaign also stopped paying for workers’ compensation insurance in October 2025.
