GOP gubernatorial nominee Tom Tiffany is up with a new ad knocking Dem rival David Crowley over taxes that features a woman warning viewers not to let the Milwaukee County executive “come for your paycheck next.”
It is the ninth ad Tiffany’s campaign has released, and the campaign said it will run statewide on digital and streaming.
The new spot features a woman identified as Kelsey, who says she’s a mom of three and that the start of the new school year means buying lots of things. She says Crowley almost doubled the sales tax, and “he bragged about it while families like mine picked up the bill.”
She says Crowley now wants to take higher taxes statewide.

“Milwaukee County families have paid enough because of David Crowley,” she says to close the spot. “Don’t let him come for your paycheck next.”
