This week, my opponent sent out a mailer that was disrespectful, untrue, and deeply disappointing.
He called me “un-American.” I am a third-generation Wisconsinite, a fourth-generation American, and a proud son of Waukesha. This community knows who I am—not because of what a campaign mailer says, but because I have spent years serving here, raising my family here, showing up for my neighbors, and working as an alderman to make Waukesha stronger. You can disagree with my views. You can challenge my record. You can criticize my ideas. That is part of public service and fair political debate. But misrepresenting my image and attacking my character does nothing to move Waukesha forward.
My opponent and I have different backgrounds and very different visions for our community. Let’s debate them. Let’s compare our records, our experience, and what we actually plan to deliver.
How will you lower costs for working families? Strengthen public safety? Support our schools? Protect taxpayers? Help our seniors? Create opportunities for the next generation? And, most importantly, how will you bring our community together instead of dividing it? Those are the questions Waukesha deserves answers to.

I love this country. I love this community. And I will never apologize for standing up for either.
