WESTON, WI, September 8, 2026…The Wisconsin Sporting Alliance today announced that State Representative Patrick (“Pat”) Snyder (R–Weston) has been selected to receive the organization’s Conservation Partner Award in recognition of his support for Wisconsin’s hunters, anglers, outdoor recreationists and the conservation of the state’s natural resources.

The Conservation Partner Award recognizes public officials who have demonstrated a commitment to working with Wisconsin’s sporting community and supporting policies that strengthen outdoor recreation, protect fish and wildlife resources, and preserve Wisconsin’s hunting and fishing heritage.

“Representative Snyder has been a valued partner on issues important to sportsmen and women throughout Wisconsin,” said Craig Peterson, of the Wisconsin Sporting Alliance. “We appreciate his willingness to work with conservation advocates and support policies that help ensure future generations can enjoy Wisconsin’s remarkable outdoor traditions.”

Wisconsin’s outdoor heritage is central to the state’s identity and economy. Hunting, fishing, trapping and wildlife recreation support thousands of jobs, generate billions of dollars in economic activity, and provide countless opportunities for families to enjoy the outdoors.

The Wisconsin Sporting Alliance works with policymakers from both political parties to advance responsible conservation, improve access to outdoor recreation, protect wildlife habitat, and preserve the rights of responsible hunters and anglers.

Representative Snyder will receive the award during a presentation later this year.
