Today, Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 11:30am Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin will announce their intentions to file yet another lawsuit challenging two Wisconsin abortion restrictions.

1.The requirement that only a physician may provide an abortion.

2. The requirement that abortion providers in Wisconsin provide informed consent to the mother with a 24-hour waiting period before she can obtain the abortion.

In Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin v. Ozanne, Wisconsin’s largest abortion provider will ask Wisconsin courts to recognize that the “state Constitution’s protections of liberty and other inherent rights protect the freedom to make deeply personal decisions” about abortion without “unnecessary government interference.”

Dan Miller, State Director of Pro-Life Wisconsin, commented, “We have known for decades that the Democrat agenda has been to legalize abortion without restriction up until and including birth. Now, here in Wisconsin, they will settle for nothing less than making abortion a constitutional ‘right.’ There is no right to abortion in the Wisconsin Constitution. Any effort to find one is purely arbitrary. Pro-Life Wisconsin vows to fight the murder of preborn Wisconsinites who have no voice but the pro-life movement.”
