A group affiliated with the Democratic Governors Association is up with a new ad knocking GOP nominee Tom Tiffany on data centers and tax cuts for the wealthy as others struggle with rising costs.

According to AdImpact, Protect Our Wisconsin has now laid down $12.8 million in reservations in Wisconsin’s race, including $12.2 million since Aug. 11.

The spot features a man identified as Scott, of Waukesha County, who says everyone is just trying to get by with costs going up, and “Washington politicians aren’t doing anything to help me and my family.”

The man says Tiffany voted for tax cuts for the ultra-rich and against reductions for “families like mine” while voting to give “data center operators billions while electric bills went up.”

Scott closes the spot, “Congressman Tiffany doesn’t understand what working families need, and his extreme policies show he doesn’t care to learn.”
