MADISON, Wis. – Three individuals are being honored by the Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA) for their excellence in banking, community service, and civic involvement. A celebration was held on Friday, September 11 at the WBA headquarters in Madison, where a Leaders in Banking Excellence Wall installation displays a tribute to outstanding current and former bankers. The wall, established in 2020, now profiles 35 remarkable leaders.
“It is a privilege to celebrate these outstanding bankers and the meaningful impact they have made through their leadership, service, and commitment to Wisconsin’s communities,” said Rose Oswald Poels, WBA president and CEO. “Their induction into the Leaders in Banking Excellence recognizes careers defined by integrity and dedication to our industry and the communities each serve.”
The honorees in the Class of 2026 Leaders in Banking Excellence are:
• the late Travis Holt, Citizens State Bank of Loyal,
• Russ Kuehn, Fortifi Bank, Berlin, and
• Wiliam (Bill) Sennholz, Forward Bank, Marshfield
