Are your property taxes going up?
You can blame that squarely on Governor Evers’ infamous 400-year veto, which increased property taxes for the next four centuries.

No governor, Democrat OR Republican, should have the authority to rewrite the law for the next 400 years with the stroke of a pen.
That’s why, on November 3rd, one of the three constitutional amendments that will be on your ballot would enshrine in the Wisconsin Constitution that no governor, regardless of political party, can use the partial veto power to create or raise any taxes or fees.
To change the Wisconsin constitution, a proposal has to pass both houses of the Legislature twice and then be approved by Wisconsin voters in a statewide referendum question.
This proposal to prevent abuse of executive power has been passed the Legislature, and will be on YOUR BALLOT this November.
So, if you don’t think one person should be able to hike your taxes for the next 400 years by simply crossing out some digits and a hyphen, do not skip over this question on November 3rd.
