Waukesha, WI – State Representative Adam Neylon joined community leaders, educators, students and families to celebrate the opening of Crosspoint Academy, the Waukesha School District’s new recovery high school. With grant funding made possible through 2023 Wisconsin Act 72, Crosspoint Academy will provide students in recovery with a supportive environment, where they can focus on their education and building a strong future.

After the ribbon cutting and tour of the school, Rep. Neylon made the following statement:

“Every kid deserves a quality education and a real opportunity to succeed, including those struggling with addiction. Crosspoint Academy shows what’s possible when we reach out to students and give them the support they need to thrive. That’s the vision behind my support for Act 72, and seeing it become a reality here in Waukesha County is something I’m very proud of.”
