A new television ad from House Majority PAC says Wisconsinites “can’t afford” U.S. Rep. Derrick Van Orden, R-Prairie du Chien.

The 30-second spot opens with Corinne from Arcadia, pictured on a front lawn.

“Out here the hospital isn’t some kind of luxury, it’s really far on a good day,” Corinne says.

The ad goes on to say that Van Orden “voted to cut $42 million from local hospital funding” and “voted to eliminate healthcare coverage for 300,000 Wisconsinites.”

“Derrick Van Orden has no idea how much this hurts our health and our wallets. We can’t afford Derrick Van Orden anymore,” Corinee says.

Van Orden is seeking his third term in Congress, representing the 3rd congressional district. He faces Dem challenger Rebecca Cooke, who he narrowly beat in 2024.
