The Dem-aligned Wisconsin Ideas Project is out with four new digital ads praising Dem gubernatorial candidate David Crowley for his plan to lower costs, while accusing Republican Tom Tiffany of voting in Congress to make life more expensive for Wisconsinites.

The group said the spots are part of a mid-six-figure campaign that will run on YouTube and Meta platforms.

The buy includes a 30-second spot in which the narrator says Tiffany, a GOP congressman from Minocqua, is making life more expensive by voting to raise costs for groceries, healthcare and gas. The narrator then says Crowley has a plan to lower utility bills, prescription drugs costs and property taxes.

The narrator closes the spot, “David Crowley knows that working families should get ahead, not just get by.”

The other three spots are 15 seconds. In one, the narrator says Crowley will lower costs, “hold data centers accountable” and rein in prescription drug costs.

The narrator in another 15-second ad says Tiffany voted for legislation to fast-track data centers, give them a $68 billion tax break and ban states from regulating AI for 10 years. The narrator closes the ad, “Tom Tiffany stands with big tech billionaires, not with us.”

In the fourth ad, the narrator says Tiffany votes with President Donald Trump “100% of the time,” including to increase insurance costs to give tax breaks to his billionaire donors and to support the war in Iran. That spot ends, “Tiffany’s record tells us exactly who he is.”
