Dem David Crowley’s campaign released a new ad that charges GOP rival Tom Tiffany sold out Wisconsin while seeking to tie him to higher gas prices.

The campaign didn’t announce details of the buy. According to AdImpact, Crowley has laid down nearly $5 million in paid media since the Aug. 11 primary. In all, Crowley and those backing him had $20.9 million reserved as of today. Meanwhile, Tiffany and his supporters had $29.5 million laid down over the same period.

The 15-second ad opens with the narrator saying Tiffany sold out Wisconsin before showing a clip of the congressman’s ad in which he says, “You betcha.”

The narrator adds that in Washington, Tiffany is more loyal to President Donald Trump “than he is to us” and voted for “Trump’s Iran war” five times, resulting in higher gas prices.

The narrator closes the ad, “Tom Tiffany: went to Washington, sold out Wisconsin” before the spot again plays a clip of Tiffany saying, “You betcha.”
