Tiffany campaign: Why is socialist Francesca Hong holding more public events across Wisconsin than David Crowley?

WAUSAU, WI – While Democrat candidate for governor David Crowley heads to California to raise money with Kamala Harris and Hollywood donors, former Democrat gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong is holding public events across Wisconsin.

In a span of just two weeks, Crowley has traveled outside Wisconsin to raise campaign cash, first heading to Washington, D.C., for a fundraiser and now traveling more than 2,000 miles to Santa Monica, California, for a high-dollar fundraiser with Kamala Harris and actor Sean Penn.

Meanwhile, Hong, the self-avowed socialist who narrowly lost the Democrat primary to Crowley, has launched her own statewide tour with public events across Wisconsin. Crowley has no public events listed on his campaign website, and his former campaign events page has been rerouted, leaving voters without a public schedule of upcoming events.

“Self-avowed socialist Francesca Hong is holding more public events across Wisconsin than David Crowley while he flies off to Washington, D.C., and California to raise money with wealthy donors and Kamala Harris,” said Tom Tiffany. “I am traveling Wisconsin, talking directly with voters, answering their questions, and laying out a clear agenda to cut taxes, return the state surplus to taxpayers, lower everyday costs, and keep our communities safe. While Crowley raises money thousands of miles away, Tiffany continues campaigning across Wisconsin with public events and direct voter outreach. Team Tiffany recently surpassed 500,000 doors knocked this election cycle and will continue holding events across the state.
