MADISON, WI — Today, Wisconsin Family Council (WFC) announced the launch of a six-figure, statewide advertising campaign to educate faith-filled voters about the constitutional amendment on religious liberty, appearing on the November ballot.

The religious liberty constitutional amendment initiated from concerns of the events in 2020 when churches were restricted from gathering while liquor stores could remain open.

Wisconsin Family Council’s educational campaign will utilize digital advertising, church resources, direct phone calls, texts messages, and events to educate voters on the constitutional amendment. These outreaches will explain the amendment, and how it will impact Wisconsin if it passes or if it fails.

Daniel Degner, president of WFC, shared, “Our goal is simple: provide clear, accessible information so Wisconsin churchgoers can understand that a ‘YES’ vote means their church decides whether to stay open or to close, and a ‘NO’ vote may allow the government to close churches.” Degner concluded, “This November, Wisconsin voters will be able to decide if the government can force churches to close while allowing establishments like liquor stores to remain open.”
