MADISON, Wis. – In the latest sign of growing momentum for Tom Tiffany’s campaign, the Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police has endorsed him to become Wisconsin’s next Governor.

WKOW reports:

“He will hold local leaders accountable when their policies stand in the way of public safety,” the Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police said. “He will ban sanctuary policies statewide and require local law enforcement agencies to cooperate with federal immigration authorities when dealing with criminal illegal immigrants—ensuring that if someone commits a crime and is in this country illegally, Wisconsin will not shield them from justice.”

This news comes as Democrat David Crowley faces growing controversy for claiming he wants to be an “accomplice” to criminal illegal aliens and for allowing Milwaukee County jail inmates access to tablets that were used to threaten inmates.

But Crowley’s soft-on-crime agenda goes hand-in-hand with his history of anti-police views. Crowley wrote an op-ed in 2017 calling blue lives matter “wrong for our communities” and gave a $20,000 county contract to a nonprofit that advocates for a “police-free world” and “Making Police Abolition Inevitable.”

When it comes to protecting our communities from crime and supporting law enforcement, only one candidate can be trusted in this race: Tom Tiffany.
