WAUSAU, WI – As Maryland Governor Wes Moore campaigns with David Crowley today, the Tiffany campaign is releasing a new video exposing Crowley’s refusal to say whether he will raise taxes to pay for his massive spending promises.
The last time Crowley was pressed on how he would pay for his agenda, he responded with a bizarre comment about “peeing” instead of answering the question.
“Last year, Wes Moore passed the largest tax-and-fee increase in Maryland history, raising taxes and fees by $1.6 billion. So, it’s no surprise David Crowley is campaigning alongside him. Crowley has raised taxes every year in Milwaukee County, including another round of property tax and fee increases in his 2027 budget. Now he wants to bring that same tax-and-spend agenda to all of Wisconsin,” said Tom Tiffany.
This comes after David Crowley promised billions in new spending on child care, health care, and repealing Act 10, with costs far exceeding Wisconsin’s $3 billion surplus. Yet every time he is asked how he intends to pay for these promises, he dodges the question. Wisconsin families deserve a straight answer about how much more of their hard-earned money David Crowley plans to take to fund his massive big-government agenda.
