WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Mental Health PAC announced its endorsement of David Crowley for governor of Wisconsin, part of the PAC’s first-ever bipartisan slate of gubernatorial endorsements.

When Wisconsin families are struggling to find mental health care, they need a governor who knows how to fix it. David Crowley has done it before, and Mental Health PAC is proud to endorse him.

Crowley brings rare depth of knowledge and lived understanding to mental health, and his record shows what’s possible. As Milwaukee County Executive, he moved mental health care out of institutions and into neighborhoods, and in 2024 he opened two crisis stabilization houses that give people in crisis an alternative to the hospital. As governor, he’s poised to make care easier to find and easier to afford for every Wisconsin family.

“David Crowley has done what too many leaders only promise: he transformed a mental health system,” said Kathleen Daughety, Mental Health PAC Director. “He brings vision, compassion, and a record of real change, meeting people where they are before a hard moment becomes a crisis. He delivered for Milwaukee County, and he’ll deliver for all of Wisconsin. Progress takes a champion, and David Crowley is the champion Wisconsin needs.”
