The Dem-aligned House Majority PAC launched new ads in Wisconsin’s 3rd and 1st congressional districts focusing on data centers and healthcare.
Its new ad in the 3rd CD knocks U.S. Rep. Derrick Van Orden, R-Prairie du Chien, on data centers, saying they corrupt everything, including “politicians like data center Derrick Van Orden.” The narrator says Van Orden “gobbled up tens of thousands in campaign cash” from the industry, and he gave developers more $80 billion in tax breaks. The narrator closes the ad, “Derrick Van Orden and data center corruption—he’s on their side now.”
The narrator in the new 1st CD ad says healthcare facilities are closing across Wisconsin and premiums are skyrocketing, and U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil, R-Janesville, is making it worse, voting for legislation that’s driving up costs and putting rural hospitals at risk so he could give his billionaire donors a tax cut. The narrator closes the ad, “Bryan Steil, he’ll choose billionaires over you, every single time.”
