WEST BEND, WI. – October, 21, 2026 As part of its ongoing effort to support education and hold
legislators accountable, the 98,000-member Wisconsin Education Association Council and National
Education Association endorsed Andy Beck’s candidacy in the November 3rd, 2026 election. Beck, if
elected, will represent Wisconsin’s Congressional District 5, supporting public education from kindergarten through post high school training and the upskilling of displaced workers as one element of economic recovery.

“My QuickStart Careers plan calls for fast, practical training for high school graduates in fields currently
seeking employees in: health care, advanced manufacturing, skilled trades, cybersecurity and
information technology, logistics, transportation, agricultural technology and more. College degrees are
no longer the only way to build careers and stoke the economy. The majority of our technical school
graduates find good jobs, and many programs provide paid apprenticeships and internships.”

Beck’s goal is to build a federal-state partnership that covers tuition, so students start careers debt free.
“The middle class is our nation’s primary economic engine. My careers plan will allow us to give
Wisconsin’s economy a significant boost.”

WEAC and the NEA support upholding the US and state constitutions, fair pay, labor rights and providing
excellence in all levels of education. To read Beck’s detailed education plan, go to
