Sheriff cites commitment to representing the people and values of Northeast Wisconsin

NEW FRANKEN, WI — Nic Cravillion, Republican candidate for Wisconsin’s First Senate District, has received the endorsement of Calumet County Sheriff Brett Bowe.

Bowe has served in several leadership positions with the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office throughout his law enforcement career, including as lieutenant and chief deputy before becoming Sheriff. His career with the department dates back to 1990, when he served as a correctional officer.

“I am proud to endorse Nic Cravillion for the Wisconsin State Senate because I believe he will be a true representative of the citizens of Northeast Wisconsin and will voice our beliefs and values while in Madison,” said Calumet County Sheriff Brett Bowe.

“I’m grateful to Sheriff Bowe for his endorsement and his many years of service to Calumet County,” said Cravillion. “The people of Northeast Wisconsin deserve a State Senator who listens to their concerns and stands up for their interests in Madison. That includes standing with the men and women of law enforcement who work every day to keep our communities safe. As State Senator, I will continue to support our law enforcement officers and work to ensure they have the resources and support they need to do their jobs. I appreciate Sheriff Bowe’s confidence in me and look forward to working with him on behalf of the people of Calumet County.”

Cravillion was born and raised in New Franken, where he now lives with his family on their seventh-generation homestead. An Army combat veteran, he has served in the military for more than 15 years, including a deployment to Afghanistan, and continues to serve as a Drill Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve. For nearly six years, Cravillion has served Northeast Wisconsin as State Senator André Jacque’s District Director, helping constituents and working closely with local governments and community leaders.

Bowe joins Brown County Sheriff Todd Delain, Manitowoc County Sheriff Daniel Hartwig, and Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski in endorsing Cravillion for State Senate.
