MADISON, Wis. – Democrat David Crowley’s scandals just keep getting worse with only a week until Election Day.
Late last week, a Daily Wire report revealed that Crowley agreed to drop out of the Democratic primary (which he later rejoined) in exchange for a $250,000 payment to his political coffers and a guaranteed role for his wife in a competing candidate Sara Rodriguez’s administration.
The Lakeland Times is now reporting that a senior Democratic political advisor with firsthand knowledge of the events has alleged in an affidavit that this arrangement was made, putting further strain on Crowley’s denials.
This is just one of the many scandals Crowley faces; he was already exposed for funneling taxpayer money to a nonprofit that employs his wife before disclosing the conflict of interest. And just yesterday it was revealed that he took $2 million in campaign cash from a billionaire closely associated with sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.
