Should lawmakers back the bill to spend more than $545 million in public dollars for maintenance and upgrades at American Family Field?

Absent significant changes to the deal, it should be rejected. While politicians of both parties love to spend money and pose for pictures with the Brewers, someone needs to look out for the taxpayers.

A bold challenge to the forces that threaten to bankrupt Wisconsin public schools.

Wisconsin’s GOP Senate is proposing to increase the parental tax deduction for private school students from $4,000 for an elementary school student to $5,070 and for a secondary student from $10,000 to $12,660 with future increases for inflation.

The Wisconsin Assembly speaker continues to try to disqualify Justice Protasiewicz from redistricting case.

Team of rookies will have to make the sale for automatic registration.

Hopefully, Wisconsin lawmakers will not allow big utility companies to control the EV charging market unfairly. They must create an environment where the private sector can succeed for a national EV charging network to be realized.

It’s no wonder that former Justice David Prosser told Assembly Speaker Robin Vos there aren’t any grounds to impeach new Justice Janet Protasiewicz for calling the state’s districting maps “rigged.” According to former Assembly Rep. and Superintendent of Public Instruction Herbert Grover, Prosser did virtually the same thing when he was running for reelection back in 2011.

Two parties that can’t seem to agree on the time of day can come together on one thing: handing over a half billion dollars in the taxpayers’ hard-earned money to billionaires.

Americans must stand with Israel against Hamas terrorism and supply Israel with what it needs for its defense. America and Israel are allies, requiring honest dialogue throughout.

I could not in good conscience vote in favor of a resolution that was linguistically one-sided and did not acknowledge the plight of innocent Palestinians who were also harmed.

Pocan condemned “the heinous attacks by Hamas on Israel,” and declared that, “Any hostages should be released immediately and the violence must end.” At the same time, Pocan counseled that the Israeli response to the attack must seek to avoid more death and dislocation for the 2.4 million Palestinians living in Gaza.

I am encouraged and optimistic about the opportunities ahead of us on the Mississippi River. This river has played a role in commerce throughout history and I believe we are on the precipice of an exciting new era.
