Wisconsin’s school choice programs are on the ballot April 4. That will come as news to parents of the approximate 50,000 students who are enrolled in those programs. However, the threat posed by the Supreme Court candidacy of Janet Protasiewicz is real.

Lawmakers must pass legislation to ensure the costs of replacing old or out-of-compliance poles are split fairly, increase transparency through consistent timelines for permits and access to poles, and to ensure disputes between pole owners and those deploying broadband are heard and resolved as quickly as possible.
