A book due out this week, “The Steal: “The Attempt to Overturn the 2020 Election and the People who Stopped It,” includes a chapter that focuses on Rohn Bishop, then party chairman in Fond du Lac County, the birthplace of the Republican Party.

The county executive from the politically competitive Fox River Valley has run an incredibly disciplined and determined campaign so far — very much in the style of former U.S. Sen. Bill Proxmire’s successful bids in the 1950s and early 1960s.
Toney sought to expand the injustice rather than do away with it. Does that sound like someone we want running, of all things, the Department of Justice?
As a woman of faith and a legislator that knows we can work through most problems, in spite of all that we are facing as a nation, I can still smile. I welcome 2022 and wish each of you a Happy New Year!
The two largest school districts in Wisconsin have said for nearly two years that they are merely following guidelines from federal and state health and education authorities, but on Saturday night—less than 24 hours before Posley pulled the plug on a return to the classroom—Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona said unequivocally that school should not be virtual this winter.
