Vaccinations should be seen not as a restriction on people’s rights, but as a permission to engage in all kinds of normal American activities.

Take your time. Examine the facts. Message your healthcare provider. By the time it’s your turn to get vaccinated for COVID-19, you’ll likely conclude that vaccine history is safely and effectively on your side.

The vaccine is how we will finally win this war. Let the experts get it done without micromanagement from people whose medical expertise is highly questionable.

And, going forward, Badger lawmakers need to ban vote-gathering practices that violate state law.

As we reach the end of the long, difficult year that was 2020, we’re looking ahead to a brighter 2021, all while taking stock of what we learned this year.

Even with the pandemic, changes to schedules and fewer opportunities to move around the 17th Senate District in person, 2020 was a very productive, fruitful year for me as your State Senator.

There is reason for hope as the curtain falls on 2020.
