Waukesha, WI – Members of the Waukesha County Democratic Party gathered on
November 16th for their annual election and re-elected Chairman Matt Lowe to a second
term, along with his entire executive committee of Vice Chair Ted Wentzel, Treasurer
Jennifer Neuman, and Secretary Anne Meyer. Matt Lowe was elected for the first time
last year as the youngest Chair in County Party history.

“It is truly an honor to serve Waukesha Democrats as their Chair and humbling to have
the support of so many great people to lead our Party into 2018.” Lowe said.

“This past year we have mobilized and built the crucial infrastructure needed to capitalize
on the growing public awareness that the Republican Party lead by President Trump,
Governor Walker, and Speaker Ryan are only concerned about their millionaire and
billionaire donors. In 2018 we will be at as many events as possible to discuss with folks
the issues they care about and tell them how Democrats want to lead on education, tax
reform, economic justice, a clean environment, and the getting the United States back to
being a leader in global trade, peace, and cooperation.” Lowe added.

The Waukesha County Democratic Party will be hosting an open house with their newly
re-elected executive board after the Waukesha Christmas Parade on Sunday. Everyone is
welcome to come and chat and have free coffee, hot cocoa, and treats for the whole
family. We are located one block east of the end of the parade at 336 Wisconsin Ave.

The Waukesha County Democratic Party is the 3rd largest base of Democratic voters in
Wisconsin and a leader in organizing folks around common issues to fight for Main
Street over Wall Street.
